WELCOME

Growing up my mom would always make cupcakes for me to take to school for my birthday to share with the class, and that's where my passion for decorating started. Recently I began baking for fun,I bought a book here, and took a look at some books at the library, and before I knew it I was doing it as a profession. Although I'm working out of home, and my orders were started by word of mouth to family and friends, I still take it seriously. I enjoy coming up with unique ways to decorate the things I make, and absolutely LOVE the complements of the end result. I have posted a few pictures of the creations I have done, and as the creations appear so will their pictures on my Blog!! LETTER OF THE WEEK!!

Doodlebug Bakery just recently did a baby shower cake for a first time mother. It turned out great! It took longer than expected but by the grace of God it was completed. I wish Angela (the mother to be) a healthy pregnancy and baby girl. My next cake is in May so come back to see the pictures of the 63rd Wedding Anniversary cake! Trout Fishing Cake


This cake is a chocolate cake with a hand made fishing pole, and bobber. The fish is cut out of cake, and covered in tan fondant that is colored to look like a trout with food coloring.
